The Windward Islands Bank (WIB) continues to support clients in difficult times.

Many organizations are forced to take some measures in connection with the Corona Virus (Covid-19). WIB has activated its Business Continuity Plan and announced some operational/internal measures taken to continue protecting employees and clients from the risks associated with Corona Virus (Covid-19). Meaning that WIB will suspend payments on personal and commercial loans, mortgage loans and credit cards for March, April, and May 2020.

We are aware that several personal and commercial clients will be going through difficult times with minimum income. For this Reason WIB has taken the following decisions as a first step:

During the months of March, April, and May 2020 we will introduce a moratorium on personal and commercial loans*. Meaning that WIB will suspend payments on personal and commercial loans for the above-mentioned 3 months. The client will not pay Capital nor interest; the interest will be capitalized on the loan.
We will, of course, keep monitoring the situation and make additional adjustments where and when necessary. *Loans in arrears for more than 90 consecutive days are not eligible for the moratorium.
Individual clients or companies that need additional financial assistance, can contact our bank through our contact center (1721-5462942) and/or e-mail us at customer.support@wib-bank.net for a temporary overdraft facility.
Our Bank personnel is available to discuss and evaluate any other financial needs on an individual basis. We can be reached by phone and e-mail at the above-mentioned number and email address.

Local and international transfer forms handed in at our Branches before 12:00 PM will be processed on the same day.
In connection with services provided in our branches, please note that; -Until further notice. WIB will temporarily close Branches at Simpson Bay and Illidge Road. This will provide our Bank with more flexibility to adapt to the work hours of our employees.
- Please take note that the branches which will remain open and accessible to provide service to our clients are: Pondlill and Busb Road.
For the protection and security of our clients and staff and in accordance with the announcements of our health officials, we will only allow a limited number of clients to enter our branches at the same time. We kindly request our clients to follow the instructions provided by our security personnel.
For your convenience, we encourage you to use WIB Online Banking, our ATM/Bankomatiko machines, SMS 1111 to recharge your phone, and Point of Sales terminals.
